Visiting the Garden Island of Mainau in Southern Germany

We visited the beautiful Garden Island Mainau on Lake Constance, which lies in Southern Germany, on July 16th, 2019. Mainau Island is a 'flowering island' notable for its parks and gardens and also hosts a Schmetterlingshaus (eng. butterfly house) and a beautiful castle on top of the hill. The castle still serves as a residence for a local family.
