Walk along the Montreux waterfront promenade during the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland. The waterfront promenade along Lake Geneva is a bustling place with a variety of street musicians, a street market and many other attractions for every age group during the Montreux Jazz Festival. In memory of Queens lead singer Freddie Mercury and his presence in Montreux, a bronze statue was erected in 1996 on the Montreux lakeside promenade.
