Driving the GRAVEL ROAD from Penticton to Hedley on a SMOKY day
Driving the GRAVEL ROAD from Penticton to Hedley on a SMOKY day
We start this drive on a smoky day September 14th, 2020 in Penticton, BC Canada. The smoke is from large wildfires in Washinton, Oregon and California and is moving into British Columbia after the wind changed a few days prior to this road trip. Instead of using the Highway to get to Hedley, we drive up to the Apex Mountain ski resort. We then continue on the Hedley Nickel Plate gravel road towards the Nickel Plate Mine before we start the winding and steep descent towards Highway 3 near Hedley. We arrive in Hedley after a driving time of 1 hour 50 minutes. Hedley was a former gold mining town in the Similkameen and has a population of approximately 250 people | Please Subscribe ➤ https://bit.ly/31hqyBO
