The flight across the Swiss Alps starts in southwestern Switzerland at the Sion Airport on September 22nd, 2017. From Sion, which lies in the Canton of Valais, we fly eastward up the Rhone valley via Sierre, Visp, Brig and Riederalp before starting flying up the Aletsch Glacier. After flying along the northern flank of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau we continue our flight eastward and fly high above the well-known ski resort of Grindelwald towards Brienz and then past Lake Lungern, Lake Sarnen and Lake Lucerne, with the City of Lucerne in the distance.

We continue our flight high above Stans, Buochs, Beckenried and Vitznau before we cross the 1,797 meters tall Mount Rigi.
